The Umpire of Our Life

It’s easy to make a decision when it’s black or white, but most of the time we live in the grey…

One moment you think you are on stable ground and the next moment the ground is crumbling beneath you. Situations like these not only affect us but can affect those around us. This why we need the Holy Spirit to help us make the right decisions, so the ground doesn’t crumble beneath us. When we are led by the Holy Spirit, he will give us insight on what to do and what not to do. This week, practice allowing the Holy Spirit to be the umpire of your life and watch the supernatural of God unfold in your circumstance.

Colossians 3:15 AMP – And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

Luke 11:13 ESV – “If you then, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”
